X World Feature Presenters

A number of feature presenters will present at X World 2009. These include:

Nader Nafissi
Senior Product Manager, Server and Storage Software, Apple Inc.

As a Senior Product Manager in Apple's Worldwide Product Marketing team, Nader Nafissi is responsible for the management and development of key features and technologies within Apple's operating system including desktop management, collaboration services, and Podcast Producer. In addition, Nader is also responsible for marketing Apple Remote Desktop - the award winning desktop management system for Mac OS X.

Sal Soghoian
AppleScript Product Manager, Apple Inc.

Sal Soghoian is widely touted as “the” Automation Guru and driving force behind the continued expansion and acceptance of AppleScript and Automator. He began his computer career in 1992, after discovering AppleScript could automate the publishing-related tasks at his service bureau. After spending years as an early “online evangelist,” Sal has continued to serve the Automation community as the Product Manager Automation Technologies at Apple. Throughout his tweleve-year tenure, AppleScript’s importance, use, and integration has grown, becoming the indispensable tool for automation and communication on the Mac.

Chris Cahill
IT Director, University of Technology, Sydney

Chris is the current IT Director at UTS in Sydney. Chris will talk about how UTS are 'Building Networks for Flexible Learning Environments' and the challenges and opportunities these bring.
