The AUC is offering funding and resources to support innovative projects
from staff and students of member Universities.

The AUC Innovation Grants are to assist members of the AUC community in
developing software and other resources which are relevant to the use of
Apple technology in Higher Education and which are freely or inexpensively
available to the AUC community, and the wider Higher Education community.
The primary objectives of the Grants are to:-

€ Inspire and foster innovation
€ Support projects for which an outcome is wider adoption of Apple
technology
€ Support projects which produce a shared, tangible and valuable result.

The grants are designed to enable proof-of-concept, or product-development
projects, from staff and students with a strong preference in the case of
proof-of-concept for "pilot" products that are of some use in their own
right.

The second-round grants for 2007 are specifically intended to foster
projects that make use of or build on new features in Mac OS X 10.5 Leopard.

Applications close on Friday 2 Nov 2007.
