** AUC Announces /dev/world/2008 **

An Apple Developer Conference Down Under!

The Apple University Consortium has announced it will be holding a 2  
day conference for University staff and students who develop on the  
Apple platform.

dev/world/2008 will be held at the Rydges Hotel in Melbourne on the  
28th to 29th September 2008 and will feature a wide range of  
presenters from the Apple developer community as well as sessions  
covering a wide range of subjects including iPhone development, Xcode,  
Objective C, Core Animation and many others.

/dev/world/2008 will also feature update on Apple's development tools  
as well as ample opportunity to network with fellow developers at  
social events.

Registration closes on 19 September 2008 and spaces are limited.

- AUC Offers Registration & Travel Subsidies

The AUC will be offering a subsidy for up to 3 attendees per member  
University to assist with return economy airfares to Melbourne, twin- 
share accommodation for two nights (three nights for WA, NT and FNQ  
attendee's) as well as a subsidised registration fee. More information
