* iPhone/iPod Touch Web Apps Workshops *

The AUC is offering 20 partially funded places at each of two iPhone/iPod
Touch Web Apps Workshop to be held in Sydney and Melbourne.

Web applications ‹ or web apps ‹ combine the power of the Internet with the
simplicity of Multi-Touch technology on mobile devices such as the iPhone
and iPod Touch.

The workshop is aimed specifically at students who study computing science,
computer engineering, information technology, mathematics, creative
arts/design or related disciplines and/or have an interest in developing web
applications for portable devices such as the iPhone and iPod touch. Staff
from member Universities are also welcome to attend. It is expected that
those who attend will have some basic experience using web technologies such
as HTML, CSS (Cascaded Style Sheets) and Java Script.

The iPhone/ iPod Touch Web Apps Workshop will be at the following venues on
these dates:

    * Sydney, 24 - 25 July 2008 at Clifton Training Centre
    * Melbourne, 31 July ­ 1 August 2008 at Clifton Training Centre
