Technical Training for Mac OS X Administrators

The Apple University Consortium, in conjunction with Apple Australia, has
announced they will be holding a 3 day hands-on training event specifically
for Higher Education Technical staff who support and manage Mac OS X
installations.
X World will be held at the University of Technology, Sydney from the 9th to
11th July 2008 and will feature a wide range of presenters from the
University sector and Apple as well as hands-on laboratories so attendees
can learn how to configure and administer Mac OS X and implement it back in
their own environments.
- Why Should I Attend?
X World 2008 will also feature information from WWDC 2008 as well as
iTunesU in Australia and New Zealand and the process involved in getting
content onto iTunes. A full list of workshops and technical session are on

- AUC Offers Registration & Travel Subsidies
The AUC will be offering a subsidy for up to 6 attendees per member
University to assist with return economy airfares to Sydney, twin-share
accommodation for two nights (three nights for WA, NT and FNQ attendee's) as
well as a discount on the registration fee. More information on the exact
subsidy levels being offered is available on the AUC web site at
