[UniMacTech] Xraid and Linux?

Hello,

I'm interested in using a linux server to host a Xraid for file storage. 
I'm easy about whether its a G4 XServe of a Dell box. Any suggestions or 
tips? (I'm looking at this because I kinda need to use a system that 
supports the setuid bit on directories)
