Utilising the su account, I used the command :
dscl localhost -read /LDAPv3/ldap.x.x.x/Users/xxxx
This shows me users details under OSX10.4.10
If I try this command in terminal window under OSX 10.5 , I get the
following error message
<dscl_cmd> DS Error: -14009 (eDSUnknownNodeName) ?
To answer Peters question (is SSL involved ?)
Yes SSL is involved
I also also tried it with SSL turned off and on , once again only works
with OSX10.4.10
kind regards
