[UniMacTech] retrieving photos and video data from and iPod

Hi Mac gurus,

We've wiped a MacBook and now can't sync the iPod data back. Just  
wondering if anyone know a way of retrieving photo and video data  
from an iPod.
After googling I've used iPodCopy with some success although the  
images seem to have lost resolution and the application hasn't picked  
up video data.
the iPod help desk suggested iPodFolder app although this only does  
music.
