Hi Mark
We have been using Altiris for our Windows PC's for years and found it
quite good. We have just started using Netboot for some of our Mac
images, since OS X server 10.5, but the latest Altiris version now
supports Mac too, so we are trying to find time to explore this avenue
also. I'd be interested in hearing how you get on with your Mac Altiris
endeavours. This site has some useful tips-:

Subject: [UniMacTech] deployment/management software solutions
Hi,
If anyone has done any research or has experience using a good
deployment/management software solution for their environment that works
well for both Macs and Windows, could you please let me know? Current
potentials we are considering include Altiris and LanRev. If you're
using any of those and have comments, I'd very much appreciate it.
Obviously our needs may differ from other orgs, but an overall thumbs
up/thumbs down would be a great start.
cheers,
Mark
