Sherry,
This information is written to the local Directory Services store on
Mac OS X 10.5.
You can create the appropriate configuration by opening /Applications/
Utilities/Directory Utility.app and entering the mount in the "Mounts"
tab (you might have to click "Show Advanced Settings" to see the
mounts section).
This will create a plist in /var/db/dslocal/nodes/Default/mounts with
your configuration. Note however that you shouldn't edit the files in
here directly, you can use tools like dscl to edit this as appropriate.
