[UniMacTech] iMac G5 wont't boot from install discs?

Hi Daryl
Make sure that you are using the exact same install disks that came with the machine. They sometimes have a small difference to a similar boot disk of another machine.
If you get a "kernel panic" screen when trying to boot or install, then you are trying to boot from an incorrect disk.
Sorry, hope this not trying to "teach grandma how to suck eggs..."

Hi,
Anyone come across an iMac that won't boot from the original install disks.
It will boot from the Leopard install DVD but I can't roll it back to Tiger.
