         Thanks Jim.
        I decided that I would re assemble the computer sans power 
supply until the parts arrive. That way nothing gets lost and I won't 
forget how to re assemble it.

          Does Apple Certification ever expire? I thought that it 
just kept going but you are not certified to work on computers newer 
than the one's you are trained for.

          If what I think is the case then I am still certified but 
only on Apple machines up to 1989 8-)
