[UniMacTech] default permissions for smb shares on 10.5?

Oh yeah. Server Admin. Duh.

but! if I set owner, group and other all to "read and write" I end up with 
a directory mask of 0777 and a create mask of 0644!! Not so good.

Thanks for the tips about 'sharing' and /var/samba/shares/  They'll be 
handy...
