Hi all,
The AUC is committed to offering subsidised training to staff of member
Universities and in 2008 we will continue to offer a wide range of courses
covering Mac OS X. They cover beginner and intermediate courses right up to
advanced server courses in the latest version of Mac OS X, 10.5 Leopard.
- Partnership with Dimension Data Learning Solutions
The AUC has partnered with Apple's new training solutions provider DDLS to
offer a wide range of training courses in 2008. DDLS is the first Apple
Authorised Training Centre in Australia to offer high-quality training on
Apple products and technologies.
The AUC has secured a standard discount for AUC Members of 35% off the RRP
(inc-GST) of any Apple training course. This discount is available to all
AUC Member University staff attending any Apple training course offered by
DDLS. There are no limits on the number of staff who attend using the
standard AUC discount.
DDLS in 2008 will be offering the following Apple training courses:
MacOS 101 - Mac OS X Support Essentials v10.5

- Additional AUC Training Subsidy
In addition to the standard AUC discount of 35% on all DDLS Apple training
courses the AUC is offering an addition training subsidy for up to 4
training attendees per member University in 2008. The local AUC
Representative decides who is eligible to claim the additional subsidy.
The additional subsidy consists of:
* Registration Course Subsidy - additional 35% course subsidy (70% total)
* Accommodation Subsidy - for those that require accommodation to attend
* Airfare Subsidy - for those that need to travel to attend
The above subsidies are on a claims basis after the course has been attended

Invoices. Term, conditions and limits apply.
