[UniMacTech] Disable iMac internal speakers?

         I guess the best way is to open the back and un plug/cut the 
speaker wires.

         If you don't want to do that you could plug an umbilical 
cord into the headphone socket and have a socket on the other end of 
that to plug headphones into. To make this foolproof though you would 
have to fix the plug into the headphone socket so that it can't be un 
plugged easily.

       You know how it is you can make something acadimic proof but 
not student proof.
