Hi all,

I have a problem here that has me stumped.

We have a 10.4 Server doing nothing much but fileserving with AFP and SMB.

The Server is joined to the University¹s AD. Ever since one of the
University¹s Domain Controllers were taken offline yesterday, Windows users
have been unable to authenticate. Apple users can connect fine.

I have unbound and rebound the Server to AD, recreated the object in AD,
restarted the Server, stopped and started services. The error that it¹s
reporting is:

The AD admins have been unable to help us, and all my google searching has
been in vain.

I¹m wondering if anyone out there has experienced anything similar using OS
X Server in an AD environment?

Specifically it would be wonderful if someone could tell me what their
/etc/smb.conf file said, one admin I have spoken to suggested it may be
corrupt.

Cheers
