that's a Firewire only feature - no longer possible with MacBooks.  
Best outcome would be to hope Apple will be able to work out TDM using  
Firewire over ethernet.

there is not. Never say never, but this would be hard to achieve,  
given the nature of Firewire.

You'll need to boot them from a USB drive. Buy a USB case without the  
drive if you need to minimise costs & throw a spare drive in there -  
pull one from a FW case!

Your FW drives have a limited life anyway (mine sure do!), so make  
sure your next drives are FW800/USB2. That's my plan.
