[UniMacTech] iPhone on campus

Hi Stephen, hope things are well with you?

I can confirm that iPhone works just fine at JCU - I have one and it's
happily using our wi-fi connection when in range, and switching to
Optus 3G when not - no problems here, and easy to setup too. I haven't
even cracked my phone yet ;-)

However iTunes store doesn't appear to want to connect, and VPN is no
go, but I think our server is currently down, so I've not had a good
crack at it yet - it looks like it should work ok.

Unfortunately I'm not responsible for documentation but there you go.
Carl van Wyck has a testing iPhone he's offering to loan people, so
testing is definitely underway.

Regards

.:S:.
