Hi
I have started experiencing slightly different smb mount issues too
with 10.5 machines. There are two file servers that they connect to, a
Windows 2003 and an Ubuntu 7.10 server, both use Active Directory for
authentication. The 2003 shares connect fine, albeit too low in the
share path. The Ubuntu shares are inconsistent. Some will mount
perfectly while others will fail with errors. If I reboot the Mac and
connect to the troublesome shares, they work straight away.
It's a bit of a head scratcher so if anyone has any advice...
Thanks
