Hi all
On the subject of smb printing on leopard 10.5.5

We are experiencing some hair tearing issues with Active Directory binded 10.5.5 computers and Windows based smb printing. 

Results: 
Client- AD binded 10.5.5 computers connecting to smb printers.
User- Authenticated against Windows AD 
Printers- Xerox DocucentreII 2055 ques are located off a Windows 2003 Server.

1. If I utilise correct xerox ppd on the 10.5.5 AD binded computer, printing out a document can take over 15 minutes 
2. If I use the standard generic driver it prints out in less than 10 seconds. ?


I was hoping that the The latest 10.5.5 update with all new kerberos and samba improvements 
would of addressed this issue. It has't.

Is anyone else experiencing slow printing via a Authenticated AD user utilising ad Binded AD 10.5.5 computer.
