[UniMacTech] What rights do your laptop users have?

Hi Mervin,
We give them a second account which has admin rights and make them sign a
form which basically says that if anything goes wrong which is a result of
'tinkering' or illegal software, the computer will be reimaged.
The system has been working quite well, very few issues, and we can rest at
night knowing that their normal user is not an admin. We use this system for
both Mac, XP and Vista.
For their data backup, we use the built in sync software on both
Mac(homeSync) and PC(offline files) to sync only their documents (email etc)
when they are connected to the network.
I guess it depends on how dangerous you think your users are.
Cheers,

Subject: [UniMacTech] What rights do your laptop users have?
Hi All..
Not really asking a tech question today more of a General query, I am
currently having issues with admin rights and end users constantly
requesting admin rights. I wanted to know what other universities are doing
with laptops in regards to End users requesting Admin rights.
Cheers all
