Steve,

Most Mac dealers wont sell you the screen, as they want to install it 
themselves rather than letting the user fix it. So if you want to do it 
cheap and by yourself, that is out.

One of the main Apple parts dealers in Victoria is Apple Bits. However 
do note that can charge like a wounded bull. I don't have their phone 
number here.

Only other place is to try eBay, but buyer beware.

http://www.ifixit.com/Guide/ has guides for all Mac laptops and iPods 
for repairing/replacing anything on them, and they do not charge for the 
guides.
