[UniMacTech] Symbols in Word on Mac and PC

Thanks for the responses. As per message below, she seems to have found a
work around. It would have been convenient if MS had made the insert->symbol
function compatible between the two platforms.

I think I have gotten around the problem. Mac-PC exchanges are accepting
symbols using microsoft sans serif, rather than symbol font or object
palette symbols. Wish they would be consistent between versions
