Hi UniMactech community,

I’m looking for some help or hints on recovering someone’s Entourage database, but specifically I need to be able to identify the contents of a particular folder.

The database was 2.3GB when it corrupted prompting him to Rebuild. After a rebuild the database was 1.91GB and missing a significant amount of emails from a particular folder he’d been working in.

I ran the original 2.2GB database through Entouraid and recovered what seems to be the entire database as an “mbox file” which I have imported into Entourage.

What I’m trying to work out is how can I possibly identify which of these emails was in the particular folder that he needs.

Has anyone ever successfully recovered folder information from a damaged Entourage database? Could it be coded somewhere in the file? I tried opening with text edit or BBedit because apparently the file is too large.

Any clues, hints, or suggestions would be hugely appreciated.

Cheers
